I have worked along side Aaron for almost 10 years. Aaron was quick to educate me on the both
the company and products immediately after my hiring. He has been a phenomenal sales
manager and being the office manager and on the front lines of customer service, I have
received/seen many compliments to be directed towards Aaron. He knows all of the products
and company operational procedures like the back of his hand. He is a huge company asset.
As a Principal rep, I've worked with many sales managers in the toy industry over the course of my career. Aaron is by far one of the best. He is very knowledgeable about the market and knows how to give his sales team the tools they need to increase sales and brand recognition. I would highly recommend Aaron to any individual or organization looking for someone who is reliable, consistent, loyal and aggressive. Over the last thirteen plus years of working with Aaron, he has grown from a "get your foot in the door" sales person, to VP of sales. He has ascended within Geospace, applying a combination of hard work, commitment & undying belief in his product, brands and abilities.
Wearing many hats over the years, Aaron is not afraid to get his hands dirty when it comes to all aspects of running a business, along with a "can do" atttitude he brings a positive and fun personality that makes a huge (constructive) difference when solving elaborate problems.
In my experience Aaron is an incredibly valuable asset as an employee (and friend). We work together on so many aspects from product incubation, to branding and completely through marketing process. He brings so many relevant tools, a ton of experience and a brain that makes them all super effective. I love working with him and he makes a positive impact no matter where he is.
I worked with Aaron for a year and a half at Identity Games. He was my immediate supervisor and the person I contacted with any issues / questions with my workload. Aaron is a great personality to have at the office. He is easily approachable and is willing to help solve any problems or explain something without sounding condescending.
One thing that was nice about working with Aaron is that he is knowledgeable in many more areas of running a business than just sales, so his ideas and inputs with process changes, or making the business more successful / fun overall was really appealing.
He also is very well-informed with pop culture and the news, which may seem like a silly characteristic to note, but I believe makes him an even better salesman. Staying 'relevant' in a world full of technology and social media is important when continuing to be able to sell to upcoming generations.
Any business would be lucky to have him on their team.
Working in parallel industries and attending similar trade events, I have been able to witness Aaron's career growth for the last 13 years. From budding salesman to VP of sales, Aaron has matured into a consummate professional. He has consistently demonstrated vast knowledge of the toy and game industry and always exceeds standards. I have relied on him as a valuable industry resource for his knowledge of trade shows, sales strategy and key account practices. He is talented, creative, and is driven to overcome any obstacle he faces. Aaron is a team player and leader focused on business growth and success.
It is with rare exception, outside of parenthood, that many get an opportunity to see someone transform right before their eyes. I met and hired Aaron nearly 20 years ago. That young man is a far cry from the seasoned professional whom Aaron is today. Most, dare I say, all this transformation is due to Aaron himself, the hard work, the willingness to step outside his comfort zone and embrace growth and change. If you think stepping outside a comfort zone is easy, then you have never done it. It is comparable to stepping off an unfamiliar cliff side trail, trusting there is only a short step awaiting you. I see Aaron socially at industry events but I have kept a curios eye on his career, talking with each of his supervisors or managers to see how he is doing. Always being impressed by what I hear. Aaron is one of those rare individuals whom I could assign almost any task or objective and know, really know, he would achieve it, understanding he would give it his all. Don't let this young man's jovial exterior fool you. Over the years I have learned that Aaron does not take responsibility lightly or with trivia. You give him an objective, he WILL reach it if not exceed it more times than not. I look forward to seeing where Aaron's path leads him, I am confident he will see only success.
